Privacy Policy

 1.            Introduction

PrivaFone is committed to protecting your privacy.  This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through this website and how it is used.

Any information we collect will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, rented or otherwise disclosed without your express consent or unless otherwise required by law.

2.            Information we collect

When you visit our website we log the following technical information:  IP address or address range, browser type and operating system and website address from which you linked directly to our site.   This information does not personally identify you.  We use this information for statistical purposes in improving our website for visitors.

We also receive email and correspondence by postal mail.  We may keep copies of this correspondence for our own information and in order to respond to you.

When you purchase products from us, we record your name, address and other transaction details in order to ship your products to you.  Your credit card information is processed by PayPal, and we have no access to it.

We do not use cookies or web beacons on this site unless you use our shopping cart, in which case a temporary cookie is installed to complete the transaction.  For an explanation of cookies and web beacons, please read: and

3.            How we use your information

PrivaFone uses information you send us to provide you with business services and products in the area of personal test kits.  We also use your information to communicate with you and for our own statistical purposes in improving our website, products and services.

We may at our discretion permanently delete all correspondence from you.  You also may request that we do this by contacting us or inserting the word “DELETE” in the subject line of an email.  It may be necessary for reasons of sound business practice to keep records of business transactions and/or correspondence, but we will try to honor your request if possible.  Unfortunately, it is not possible to delete records of transactions from our PayPal account.

4.            Third-party service providers may attempt to install third-party cookies on your computer for the purpose of providing you with their services when you purchase products from us, since we use PayPal's shopping cart.  If you do not wish to have third-party cookies installed on your computer, then you may adjust your browser settings to block them. However, your shopping cart may not work if you do this.

PrivaFone occasionally may employ third-party consultants or contractors who may have access to your personally identifiable information.  In such cases, we will limit their use of personally identifiable information to their assigned duties and subject to the limitations of this Privacy Policy.

Our site contains links to various third-party websites.  We are not responsible for, nor do we have any control over the privacy practices or content of these sites.  We encourage users to read the privacy policies of any website they visit.

5.            Disclosure of your information

PrivaFone will not disclose your personally identifiable information to anyone without your express consent or unless required by law, such as a subpoena from a court or other administrative order.

If we are required by law to disclose your information, we will attempt to inform you (unless prohibited by law) so that you may exercise your right to object to the disclosure.  We will attempt to communicate with you by the contact information you have given us.  If you do not challenge such an order, we legally may be forced to turn over your information.

In any case, PrivaFone independently will object to all requests for your information that it deems unreasonable or improper.

6.            How You Can Access or Correct Your Information

You can access all your personally identifiable information that we collect online and maintain by contacting us by email or phone. We use this procedure to better safeguard your information.

You can correct factual errors in your personally identifiable information by sending us a request that credibly shows error.

To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections.

7.            Children’s Privacy (Age 12 and Under)

PrivaFone does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13.  A child does not have to provide any information to visit our website or to use any of the features of this site.

If we become aware that a person submitting personal information to us is a child, then that information is deleted immediately.  We do not use such information for any reason, nor is it disclosed to any third party.

Since we do not knowingly collect information from children, and we delete any such information as soon as it is discovered, we typically do not retain any information that could be reviewed or deleted.  If a parent requests review or deletion of their child’s information before we have discovered and deleted it, then of course we would honor that request.

8.            Changes to our Policies

PrivaFone’s Privacy Policy may change from time to time, as new products and website functionality is added.  If we make substantive changes to our policies, we will post these changes on this page.

9.       Security

PrivaFone uses standard industry practices to prevent the loss or misuse of information under our control.  Online transactions on our site using PayPal's shopping cart are encrypted through a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) connection, which protects data during transit.  In addition, the information we collect is stored in a secure operating environment on PayPal's servers.

We encourage the use of encrypted email for communications.  You may download a copy of our public email certificate here:
